Carole K Melzer-Hodson a creative jeweller based in Hawarden, Noth Canterbury.
Carole has lived and worked in Australia, England, Holland, Malta and New Zealand, travelling to many cities around the world. Work in NZ as a designer jeweller began after suffering a serious and chronic illness. The intensity of concentration gave me relief from pain and I found that I could adapt my knowledge with colour and design. Starting at the kitchen table, then a room of my own, we built a gallery and studio from farm sheds on our 8 hectare property. Several courses improved technique.
